Reema-Direct-to-Disc and Direct to Master Tape at Studio 3 BUNDLE
Reference: Reema Studio Three BUNDLE
Two albums. One day. One extraordinary recording session.
On February 15, 2026, British artist Reema recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studio 3 in London, the performance was captured simultaneously in two completely analogue formats:
Direct to Disc: cut live during the recording by Abbey Road mastering engineer Alex Gordon.
Direct to Master Tape: recorded to a Studer A820, with the best takes later compiled from the session, including the bonus track “Coffee,” and cut to lacquer by Sidney Meyer at Emil Berliner Studios.
Both albums were mixed live during the session by LowSwing producer Guy Sternberg.
The result is a unique opportunity to hear the same music in two different analogue formats, one captured directly to lacquer as it was performed, the other preserved on master tape and assembled from the best takes.

On February 15th, 2026, British singer-songwriter Reema and the LowSwing team travelled to Abbey Road Studios in London to record a special album.
The idea was to bring Reema’s songs to their most intimate form: her voice and guitar, captured live in Studio 3 at Abbey Road, home to legendary recordings by The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Fela Kuti and many more.
For Reema, the simplicity of the setup was central to the experience: with only voice and guitar, the recordings became less about production and more about returning to the songs’ original emotions, memories and places:
Direct to Disc at Studio 3 (LOSW017) was cut live straight onto lacquer, with each side recorded in a single uninterrupted take and no overdubs or edits. Abby Road’s Cutting engineer Alex Gordon worked the lathe while producer Guy Sternberg mixed the performance.
A moment that happened only once, frozen in time.
Direct to Master Tape at Studio 3 (LOSW017T) was recorded simultaneously on a Studer A820 tape machine through Abbey Road’s all-analogue signal path. It offers alternative takes of the songs, chosen by Reema and Guy, with the warmth, depth and texture of tape, plus the bonus track “Coffee”.
This bundle contain this two approaches for analogue perfection, two companion records, two ways of experiencing the same day.
